Questions

Why does my 360° photo look flat?
Viewers like Facebook and Google only switch to 360° mode when the JPEG carries panorama metadata (the GPano XMP tags) and the picture is exactly twice as wide as it is tall. Photos edited in some apps lose those tags. This tool checks for them and writes them back.
Does fixing change my photo quality?
No. For JPEG files only the metadata header is rewritten. The pixels are not re-encoded. PNG and WebP files are converted to a high-quality JPEG first.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The file is read and repaired in your browser and never sent to a server.
